  • Last weeks 1.02 Update addressed many features that everyone was frustrated and complaining about ever since the Beta of ModNation Racers. It also introduced problems of joining XP Races and XP Series when you went to the menu. It may have told you that you were connecting but it would hang, it happened to me too. First reaction was, I thought this was supposed to fix connecting issues, but that thought went away as I was able to get into races after a HARD reset of the game.

    1.03 Update: 1.02 Update Explained Plus More

    Last weeks 1.02 Update addressed many features that everyone was frustrated and complaining about ever since the Beta of ModNation Racers. First reaction was, I thought this was supposed to fix connecting issues, but that thought went away as I was able to get into races after a HARD reset of the game.

  • After running tests for the Live Stream a couple hours before the Update was supposed to come out, I started the stream back up. The Live Stream started back up at 2:00AM PST and pressed X to start ModNation Racers. There was a long pause, but no update to be found. Many trips to the ModSpot and back to the XMB commenced for a good Fifteen minutes. At exactly 2:15AM PST, I was finally prompted with to update to 1.02.

    1.02 Update Experience

    After running tests for the Live Stream a couple hours before the Update was supposed to come out, I started the stream back up. The Live Stream started back up at 2:00AM PST and pressed X to start ModNation Racers. There was a long pause, but no update to be found. Many trips to the ModSpot and back to the XMB commenced for a good Fifteen minutes. At exactly 2:15AM PST, I was finally prompted with to update to 1.02.

  • THIS WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2010, ALL THE HATERS AND FRUSTRATED RACERS WILL COME BACK TO MODNATION RACERS!! Okay, end caps, you can really how excited I am for this MUST HAVE update. Wednesday will be the first time I have played ModNation Racers in about 3 weeks. Not that I hate the game, but came to the decision that experience playing the game how it is currently was hindered after a couple hour sessions with the dragging load times. It's just not good.
