Today it was announced that ModNation Racers for the PlayStation 3 Home Entertainment Console will be seeing a $20 price cut to $39.99. While the little brother handheld will see a $10 price cut to $19.99. No reasoning was given as to why there is a price cut but it’s obvious that the game has not lived up to standards to other exclusive AAA titles in the past for the PS3.

In the four months ModNation Racers has been on the market, it has sold a total of a little under of 500,000 for the PS3 & 131,553 for the PSP, if VGChartz is to be believed and is in around the ballpark of actual sales.

For the PSP version, you can purchase a hard copy at Retail or download one digitally through the PlayStation Network!
