With a lot of complaints of slow loading times in ModNation Racers, there is one other big and annoying thing about the current version of the game, connecting to players. I’m very sure that EVERYONE that owns or has played ModNation Racers Online has experienced this. It’s frustrating and annoying. Good thing United Front Games is promising a PATCH soon to fix all or most of the nuisance of the best kart combat racing game.

Okay here it is, the PRO Tips.
Keep Trying
- You might be saying, tried it, doesn’t work. Well, sometimes it takes multiple times to get in your friends lobby.
Another Friend
- If joining directly to the friend on your PSN list does not work. If another friend on your list is already in the game of your primary friend, this may work.
Track Studio
- Chilling in the ModSpot and still having no luck from the above tips? Well I found out that going into Track Studio, Exiting, and then try joining from either tip above.
Quit Game
- Hold your PS Button (yes the Clear Button) and select quit game. Start up ModNation Racers again and witness the horrible beginning Loading Times. It seems when you go this route that your connection to the MNR Servers has been wiped and usually the way to join.
Turn System Off
- If the last tip above did not work, this might be the last resort. This last one has worked for me and others numerous times and it’s just like a hard reset of everything, clean slate.
Now IF none works for you the first time or it doesn’t work after a few sessions of gaming, it can be a couple of things. It may be your router settings, friends connection and/or router settings, OR it’s just ModNation Racers just hating on you all together because there are some bad Matchmaking Issues.
