Another week has gone by and here comes another OFFICIAL ModNation Mondays update from UFG and SCEA San Diego Studios. Ramone Russell from SCEA San Diego has confirmed that the upcoming and not yet confirmed release date patch will have LOAD TIME OPTIMIZATION! That is only 1/3 of the key features that has been addressed.

A patch you say? YES! United Front Games have announced more details for their second patch but it isn’t really something to go gaga about. Maybe for some who truly play single player MORE than multiplayer, this update is for you. In the next update, you will be greated with less aggressive  AI. They are dubbing this new feature, Casual Career mode. This is a nice update to those who were pulling their hair out trying to complete certain challenges for new items.

With a lot of complaints of slow loading times in ModNation Racers, there is one other big and annoying thing about the current version of the game, connecting to players. I’m very sure that EVERYONE that owns or has played ModNation Racers Online has experienced this. It’s frustrating and annoying. Good thing United Front Games is promising a PATCH soon to fix all or most of the nuisance of the best kart combat racing game.

Changes are coming to the XP Race and XP Series to keep the game and online rank mode fresh from rotting down a spiral hill. Frustrated that only a few OFFICIAL UFG Tracks were able to race on ANY of the XP modes, that is no longer true. ALL UFG Tracks are available to be raced upon and cause more havoc on your enemies. If you havent noticed already, the 14 tracks are already live.

Wondering about the patch to save MNR from going crazy? Well, there is not exact date, but they are sticking to the tale of coming soon.
